My friend and colleague, Laif Swanson, gave me this metal clarinet. Her father (now deceased) had given me my double bell euphonium and had that instrument restored to playing condition. This is another one he obtained at some point in lieu of monetary payment for something. I did enough investigation into this to determine it was a low-end instrument, probably not worth restoration. I may return to it again some day. In any case, I will not make it into a lamp!
