I have always wanted to play the banjo but I have never accomplished it! This banjo is actually an historic instrument. It is the banjo played by "Papa Jac" Assunto on all the old 1950s and 1960s HiFi recordings of "The Dukes of Dixieland." I traded a nice Fender Bass for this back in the 70s. The funny thing about this is that I only had that bass because a friend had lent it to me to learn to play and then moved away without telling me! I completely lost track of this friend and had no way to return the bass.
